Temple Bright launches new website from Bath-based agency Design for Digital

Bristol and London law firm Temple Bright has carried out a rebranding exercise in collaboration with Bath-based design agency Design for Digital.

At the heart of the project is a new website for the firm – www.templebright.com – which includes two new short films aimed at clients and lawyers.

Temple Bright was founded in Bristol in 2010 by a small group of lawyers operating a non-traditional business model.

It has since expanded to around 70 partners spread between offices in Bristol and London EC2.

The new website reflects the firm’s progress, with imagery evoking its dual Bristol and London identity and an enhanced news section providing a platform for articles by the firm’s partners and for deal stories.

Temple Bright co-founder Tim Summers said: “We are delighted to launch our new website, created in collaboration with our fantastic designers in Bath, Design for Digital. The new site is professional but lively, which expresses what we are like as a firm.

“We have come a long way since starting out, but we have deep roots in the region and were keen to work with a South West agency.

“Design for Digital was the ideal choice, headquartered in our sister city of Bath but with clients across the UK.

“We have worked closely with the founder Lawrence Tilley, who grasped what we were aiming for and has taken our ideas and turned them into something tangible and very striking.”

From its inception Temple Bright has run a streamlined model, rooted in physical offices but allowing for remote working.

This model was formed to provide clients with an alternative to the traditional law firm structure, which involves partners, associates and juniors.

All Temple Bright’s lawyers are experienced, with a background in leading traditional firms, and work on deals in partner-only teams.

Tim added: “From our first encounter with Lawrence we saw all the qualities that we’ve seen in successful entrepreneurs.

“Enthusiasm and attention to detail are what impress us. Lawrence has those qualities in abundance, along with the flair and imagination that one looks for in a creative.

“Design for Digital was obviously the right choice for us, and that decision has been vindicated throughout this project, as hopefully visitors to our new website will see.”

Design for Digital was established in Bath in 2013 and provides website design, development and search engine optimisation (SEO) as well as brand design services to customers across the UK. It is headquartered in The Guild hub in central Bath.

Lawrence Tilley said: “We work with many professional firms, and all kinds of other businesses too, helping improve their branding and online presence.

“It was a delight collaborating with Temple Bright to produce a professional website design which is both artistic and striking at the same time, creating a lasting impression to the visitor which other competitor websites we researched appeared to lack.

“To ensure the firm’s engaging written content was showcased in the best light, the page layouts needed to be presented in a clean and modern visual style. It was also vitally important that the site was user-friendly as well, guiding visitors through the pages with a simplified navigation and clearly highlighting relevant call-to-actions.

“We are now working with the firm on its wider suite of materials as it embarks on this new phase. We are also looking forward to getting involved in some of the strategic, post-refresh questions that were discussed on day one.

“It’s great to have a client that appreciates the importance of good presentation and we hope this will be an enduring partnership.”

Design for Digital’s website – www.designfordigital.com – includes a portfolio of recent work for clients across many sectors.

The firm offers a full range of web services including a monthly online marketing package, covering areas such as SEO, content marketing, website maintenance and Google Ads.
