Amelia Douchet

Amelia handles Real Estate matters. Her experience includes all aspects of non-contentious commercial real estate work, with a particular emphasis on mixed use developments. Amelia works regularly with established developers in the South West and has drafted and negotiated joint venture agreements for site assembly and development as well as carrying out more conventional site acquisition and development finance work. Before joining Temple Bright in 2018, Amelia worked at Shoosmiths in the Thames Valley and subsequently gained further experience at Thrings and other South West firms.

• Acting for the subsidiary of a PLC in relation to the sale and leaseback of an 18,434 square foot office building.
• Acting for a landowner entering into a 10 year option agreement with a large regional developer.
• Acting for the seller in relation to the sale of disused swimming baths in Bristol with planning permission for 32 flats.
• Acting for the sellers in relation to a large portfolio transfer of mixed use properties to an overseas company.
• Acting for a residential developer on various site acquisitions in Oxfordshire, then dealing with the development finance.
• Acting for tenants in relation to warehouse lettings in the South West region.
• Acting for a developer on various site acquisitions, refinances and sales.
• Acting for the seller of a former car dealership site in Bath to Pegasus Group.
• Acting for Chartwell Group acquiring a 10 year underlease of prime office space in central Bristol.
