Tom handles Dispute Resolution matters involving property. His practice includes a wide range of contentious property issues, with a particular focus on rent review disputes, business lease renewals, dilapidations claims and tenant insolvency. He has extensive experience acting for clients in the retail, leisure and energy sectors. Tom trained at Eversheds (now Eversheds Sutherland) and went on to work at City firms Charles Russell (now Charles Russell Speechlys), DAC Beachcroft and CMS before joining Temple Bright in 2019.

- Acting for a large fashion and homeware retailer in relation to contested lease renewals and the general asset management of its portfolio of stores across England and Wales.
- Acting for a private members club and casino in Mayfair in court proceedings relating to a contested break notice.
- Advising an energy infrastructure company on a multi-million pound rent review dispute with its landlord of a large gas processing terminal.
- Acting for several shopping centre clients across England and Wales on various asset management and debt recovery matters.
- Advising a specialist warehouse investor client on the vacant possession strategy for a large multi-let industrial site in North West England.
- Acting for a British airline in settling a multi-million pound dilapidations claim with the landlord of its former national headquarters.
- Advising various retail landlords on the impact of and options to challenge numerous high profile retail CVAs and Restructuring Plans.
