Jeremy advises on IP & Technology, and IP aspects of Media & Entertainment, both contentious and non-contentious. He handles all types of intellectual property litigation and strategic advice, including in relation to trade marks, copyright and designs, patents, trade secrets and data. He also advises on IP licensing, as well as brand management and related advertising rules. Jeremy’s experience includes in particular resolving disputes relating to trade marks, copyright, designs and patents, trade mark filing and oppositions, and strategic advice relating to IP aspects of brand launches and marketing campaigns. He has longstanding experience with clients in the tech, consumer, fashion and entertainment sectors, among many others. The Legal 500 has described Jeremy as “an extremely skilled lawyer” known for his “swift turnaround,” and he is one of only a few lawyers ranked in Managing IP’s “IP Stars” for both patents and trade marks. Who’s Who Legal has rated him as a “Global Leader” in the area of Information Technology and has noted that he “excels at the intersection of IT and IP matters, expertly handling contentious and non-contentious matters in a range of sectors.” Before joining Temple Bright in 2019, Jeremy trained and qualified at Simmons & Simmons in the City, where he was a partner for 10 years, and was also a partner for several years at media law firm Harbottle & Lewis.
