Temple Bright LLP, Bristol’s newest law firm, has appointed its fifth partner since being established in March this year.
Richard Norwood has previously worked for national firm Eversheds and specialises in commercial litigation.
Mr. Norwood said: “Joining Temple Bright gives me greater autonomy in my practice. The firm is set up to enable its lawyers to choose their clients, to get more closely involved with those clients’ businesses and to offer them more attractive ways of charging.”
The firm employs an innovative structure in which all lawyers are experienced partners and costs are reduced through an effective use of technology. The firm promises its clients senior lawyer attention on all matters, increased efficiency and lower and more certain fees.
One of Temple Bright’s founders, Tim Summers, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Richard, a further high calibre lawyer from a leading large firm. His expertise as a litigator means we can now offer advice in the five core areas of law relevant to our client base.”
Temple Bright seeks to provide “City quality” corporate, commercial, property, employment and litigation advice to Small to Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurs. The firm continues to seek lawyers with several years’ experience in leading firms, in these or any related practice areas.
“Having grown from three to five partners in our first seven months, and in a time of economic uncertainty, we are confident in the appeal of Temple Bright’s fresh approach for clients and lawyers alike,” Mr. Summers said.
