Andrew Conway

Andrew handles Real Estate matters. His experience includes all aspects of commercial real estate work including freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals, development agreements, promotion agreements, landlord and tenant work and commercial property investment transactions. Andrew has experience acting for large institutional real estate owners and investors, landlord owners (including dealing with lettings, acquisitions and sales of industrial estates, retail units and business parks), developers embarking on both in-town and out-of-town developments, and promoters seeking to obtain planning permission for residential development as well as corporate and retail occupiers. Before joining Temple Bright in 2014 Andrew worked at Taylor Wessing in the City, having originally trained and spent six years at Jones Day.


Relevant experience at Temple Bright includes:

  • Advising two separate REITs in relation to their acquisitions, sales, financing and leasing arrangements nationally.
  • Advising a UK-based developer on a purpose-built student accommodation scheme in central London.
  • Advising an investment and development real estate client on all of its acquisitions (both investment and development), disposals, leasing arrangements and financings.
  • Advising a Scandinavian retailer on all of its corporate leasing arrangements in the UK.
  • Advising two separate promoter clients in relation to their promotion agreements and sale contracts following the grant of planning permission.
  • Advising a charity on all of its investment acquisitions.
  • Advising a developer taking option agreements over sites, obtaining planning permission and selling with the benefit of planning permission.
