James Vickerman

James handles Corporate matters, offering a broad range of company law advice. He has particular expertise in LLP and partnership matters and property-related projects including joint ventures and fundraisings, while also advising more generally on shareholder arrangements, reorganisations and mergers and acquisitions across a range of sectors. James advises on Commercial agreements involving investment, real estate and asset management as well as the commercial operation of properties such as hotels and care homes. Before joining Temple Bright, James spent 7 years in the corporate department at Clyde & Co, prior to which he was at Fox Williams where he had a particular focus on LLP and partnership work.

Experience

Relevant experience at Temple Bright includes:

  • Acting for Poa Internet on several rounds of funding, from its initial seed round to its most recent round of US$28m.
  • Acting on the sale of entire issued share capital of Zebra Worldwide, an international content production company with group companies in the UK, Ukraine, France, Australia and South Africa.
  • Acting for several real estate development companies on equity and debt funding aspects of various projects.
  • Advising investors and investees on numerous equity investments and joint ventures in a variety of sectors.
  • Advising uFlexReward on its spin-out from Unilever plc.
  • Acting for a number of London University (Imperial and UCL) spin-outs on the initial spin-out process and subsequent funding rounds.
