Nick Burch

Nick handles Real Estate matters. His experience includes all aspects of commercial real estate work including freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals, property development, landlord and tenant work and commercial real estate investment and finance transactions. Nick has extensive experience acting for institutional real estate investors and landlords, banks and corporate occupiers across a range of commercial property asset classes. Before joining Temple Bright in 2016 Nick worked at Mayer Brown in the City and Dentons in Oman, having trained and qualified at Nabarro (now CMS).

Experience

Relevant experience at Temple Bright includes:

  • Advising commercial property investors and businesses on freehold acquisitions and sales.
  • Advising landlords of commercial property in relation to leasing arrangements with tenants.
  • Advising charities (including those in the education sector) in relation to the acquisition of freehold and leasehold premises.
  • Advising an international property investment firm in relation to the acquisition, leasing and financing of an office building in the City.
  • Acting for an aircraft manufacturer in relation to its move from one airport to another and in relation to the financing and construction of an aircraft maintenance facility at that airport.
  • Advising a Swiss retailer on all of its corporate leasing arrangements in England and Wales.
  • Advising a developer on the acquisition of a 200 unit apartment scheme in London.
  • Advising SSP, one of the world’s largest operators of food and beverage outlets in the travel sector, on its leasing arrangements in railway stations and motorway service stations across the UK.
  • Acting for a landowner in relation to the sale of a former industrial site for the development of circa 400 dwellings.
  • Acting for numerous occupiers in relation to their corporate real estate requirements, lease negotiations and ongoing landlord and tenant matters.
