Temple Bright advises on northern acquisition

20/05/2010

New Bristol law firm Temple Bright has completed its first substantial corporate deal. The firm acted for a new Bristol delivery and distribution business in its strategic acquisition of a Sheffield-based competitor. The founder of the acquired business will continue to work within the group and has been granted a shareholding alongside the Bristol-based management team.

The deal involved a complex structure and a substantial team from the vendors’ lawyers Irwin Mitchell, led by corporate partner James Bullock and associate solicitor Emma Garth.

The Temple Bright team of three partners was led by Tim Summers, who commented: “We were delighted to get involved in such a demanding project within the first few weeks of the new firm’s life. It was the ideal opportunity for our team to put its previous experience into action and test our streamlined, senior lawyer model. The result was an efficient negotiation and a deal which we are confident will prove a great success for both parties.”

This is a news release dated 20 May 2010.
