Philip handles Corporate matters and advises on all aspects of corporate and partnership law. He has particular experience in dealing with mergers, acquisitions and disposals of private companies in various sectors, joint ventures and shareholders’ agreements, and advising on corporate restructurings. He has acted for owner-managed businesses and family offices, as well as for multinational companies. Philip also advises on general Commercial matters, including agreements for the supply of goods and services, and revenue sharing agreements in the education sector. Before joining Temple Bright in 2025, Philip was a partner at Wansbroughs for eight years, having trained and qualified at K&L Gates in the City and worked at London firm Forsters.
Experience
Relevant experience at Temple Bright and previous firms includes:
- Leading on a complex group restructuring in advance of the Autumn budget in 2024.
- Leading on a management buy-out for an event production company.
- Advising on commercial agreements with various higher education institutions in the UK and overseas.
- Leading on the acquisition by a client of the business and assets of an agricultural machinery supplier, for a consideration of £2.5m.
- Leading on the acquisition by a UK OEM client of the entire issued share capital of a competitor, for a consideration of £6.25m.
- Advising on the acquisition by management shareholders of a printed fabric-making company for a total deal value of £8m.
