Caroline handles both contentious and non-contentious Employment matters. She has experience in supporting global firms on complex workforce issues and provides legal support across the full employment lifecycle, including advising on contracts, policies, employee incentives, performance and conflict management, dismissals, and negotiated exits. Caroline also advises on redundancies, restructurings and cross-border projects. She has particular experience in the financial services sector. Before joining Temple Bright in 2026, Caroline spent nine years at JPMorgan Chase in its EMEA HR Legal team, providing advice and support to HR, Employee Relations teams and business stakeholders. She trained and qualified at Field Fisher Waterhouse (now Fieldfisher) in the City, before moving to a specialist employment law practice. She subsequently worked in-house at AXA Partners, Fidelity International and Genworth Financial.
Experience
Relevant experience at Temple Bright and previous firms includes:
- Handling disciplinary and grievance matters, both as a legal adviser and as an investigator.
- Providing strategic legal advice to employers in disputes ranging from informal negotiations and mediations through to defending Employment Tribunal cases.
- Advising on the employment aspects of business transactions, including restructurings, reorganisations, collective redundancies, and TUPE transfers.
- Developing and delivering training and presentations for HR and business stakeholders, including on how to manage employment law issues from a practical perspective.
