Financial planning business Paradigm Norton has expanded with the acquisition of firms based in London and Exeter.

The acquired businesses include Tower Hill Associates, which is based in Richmond and serves clients in south west London, Surrey and the Thames Valley, and Exeter-based Clover Wealth Management whose clients are primarily located in Devon.

“The locations and quality of these businesses couldn’t be any better,” said Barry Horner, chief executive of Paradigm Norton.

“We plan to continue to expand our services and footprint in London and the South West. Both firms are chartered, have a reputation for delivering outstanding client care and share our values and our vision for the future.”

Paradigm Norton will continue to operate from its existing offices in Bristol, London and Torquay, but will also now have an office in Exeter.

John Lang of Tower Hill Associates said his firm has been “having conversations with Paradigm Norton for over 24 months”.

“Our key priority is to ensure that our clients receive the same levels of service and client care that they have received since I started Tower Hill Associates in 2006,” Lang added.

“Given our shared belief in providing high quality financial planning advice, we are extremely confident that in joining Paradigm Norton we have found the best firm to advise our clients long into the future.”

Tim Burridge of Clover Wealth Management said: “It’s wonderful for the team and our clients that we have merged with Paradigm Norton. Their investment philosophy, client service model and fee structure closely align with Clover’s, so in reality, I really don’t anticipate much change for our clients.

“As a chartered adviser, delivering a financial planning service that focuses on my clients’ lives, rather than just their money, I am delighted that Paradigm have the same client-oriented focus. With Paradigm Norton’s mantra of ‘Money matters, but life matters more,’ I know that my clients will be in safe hands.”

Paradigm Norton provide financial planning, investment portfolio management and tax and estates services. It became a ‘B’ Corporation and employee owned in 2019.

Temple Bright in Bristol provided legal advice to Paradigm Norton.
