Temple Bright supports Work & Class in its spin-out from Ready Media Group

Temple Bright has worked with Work & Class to launch as an independent business after two years building its foundations within Ready Media Group.
Work & Class
Work & Class is an award-winning creative communications agency powered predominantly by working class people, delivering impactful work that resonates with the UK’s largest yet often overlooked demographic.
The firm’s founder, Laura Burch, and her team have delivered work for organisations like The Big Issue, Greenpeace, Youth Music, Sky, Mountain Warehouse, Oxfam, icelolly.com, Sport in Mind and more.
Work & Class was initially launched with backing from Ready Media Group, a collective of integrated comms agencies delivering work across PR, social, digital and live experiences.
New beginnings
Jonathan Greenwold and Tepo Din at Temple Bright provided corporate and employment law support to Work & Class on its establishment as an independent business. With Temple Bright’s advice, the transition was structured as a business purchase from Ready Media Group.
Laura Burch said: “Thanks so much for your help through all of this, Jonathan and Tepo, it’s very appreciated. This could have been quite a stressful process, so it’s been incredibly reassuring and helpful to have such solid advice and support.”
Laura added: “It all had to happen very fast, and as this was the first time I had been involved in a project like this, I needed jargon-free, commercial and pragmatic advice, all provided quickly and on a tight budget. Temple Bright delivered for me on all fronts.”
Temple Bright was launched in Bristol in 2010 using a tech-enabled, streamlined business model. It opened its second office in London EC2 in 2013 and now has more than 75 partners, evenly spread across the two locations. The firm advises clients across a range of sectors, with significant expertise supporting start-ups and SMEs.
