Nina handles IP & Technology matters with a particular focus on “soft” IP (copyright and trade marks), data protection and commercial IP exploitation. As well as negotiating and drafting agreements for clients in these areas, Nina advises on IP protection, enforcement, infringement and exploitation issues and on data protection compliance. She also manages and prosecutes trade mark portfolios on behalf of clients. Nina has extensive experience advising on Media & Entertainment matters and counts among her regular clients a number of publishing, digital start-up companies, literary estates, production companies, advertising agencies, designers, galleries, authors and artists. Because of her work and experience in data protection compliance, she is a member of our Risk, Compliance & Investigations team. Nina trained at Olswang (now CMS) and worked in that firm’s IP team for 8 years. In 2011, recognising a demand for flexible specialist IP advice tailored for the creative sectors, she set up her own media and IP consultancy business which she operated through Olswang for a further 6 years before joining Temple Bright in 2017.
